I highly recommend Suda Thai restaurant. One of my favorite places to eat. Very crowded at lunch time as mentioned in the video. The servers know what I like so they just nod at me and bring my special: chicken vegetables and rice with egg on top. A pity they tore down Hemmingwas.
Soms Heaven is a blowjob bar. Been there a few times, and is well known by expats of Bangkok.

I have been to both Suda and Som Haven. Sudas is a fantastic restaurant with great Thai food. Soms not a great experience there but certainly a rememberal one.
This soi is with condo more than others. Allen, do you mind to tell me when did you go to film the soi?? Great work!

Thanks ESB, I found it useful. I have wondered what was down that soi. My last trip to Thailand, I planned on 3 weeks stay; 2 of which in Bangkok. I decided to rent an Airbnb for those 2 weeks; so I could live a little like a Thai and see if I liked it. I ended up renting an apartment at Le Cote. Two weeks before the trip, the owner notified me that the room was no longer for rent. So then I found another Airbnb in the same place for a bit less money and then 3 days before, they canceled on me. I got lucky and rented a place right off of Soi 17, right past Robinson; which was more convenient.
Suda restaurant looks right up my street…. sorry Soi ! Also the red planet hotel looks nice. Nice vlog.
