  1. Sherod Parkinson says:

Just saw it for the first time, didn’t even know it existed before today. Thought it was good. Could have been 29 mins longer with some more character development.

  2. Dreamingrightnow says:

Yeah, it's a "cheesy 90's movie" but nobody told Jodie Foster, who is (also unbeknownst to her) a cheesy 90's actor. Please, can everybody stop pretending Jodie Foster can act? And the dialogue sucks hard too.

  3. Jiles Stewart says:

I actually liked this movie, great actors on a 15 million dollar budget. The fight scene in the hallway is worth watching, everything else is window dressing

  4. J Gunzler says:

💩 This movie should’ve been a fun time but for some reason it decided to lean hard into the drama. It really didn’t even have a third act either. It just sorta ended without any resolutions to story elements it set up. There was literally no reason for Jenny Slates character besides providing us with Jodie Fosters backstory. The guy with the hole in his neck just disappeared after Bautista left him in the back alley when it felt like he’d be back later on. This is the 2nd biggest waste of Jeff Goldblum since Jurassic World 2. He just shows up, adds a little more to Fosters backstory and dies. Brian Henry does nothing but bitch and complain, and add to Sterling K Browns backstory before dying. Seriously this isn’t even a movie. Its got a great cast and great production design. There must be a reason/explanation. I guarantee this movie is missing at least 30 minutes of content. I’m just glad I didn’t pay to see this in a theater because I might’ve attempted to get a refund.

  5. Julio Garcia says:

A film has to tell its story in a limited time, if it can't do it in an effective way it loses most of its meaning, the movie has good scenes but was incoherent at a whole, and with that much talent in one movie you would get little love back for waste it.

  6. Dark Day Afternoon says:

Honestly i was really disappointed by this movie, for me it just felt all over the place with no rhyme or reason for anything, just a bunch of stuff happening and then it ends.

  7. SONNY A says:

Did you spot the mistake where the black dude approached Everest while he was wheeling the cop. Everest had his I.D on his chest pocket. As soon as black dude fist bumped his chest, Everest I.D was gone, just like he swiped the arms dealer wallet in the beginning. BUT… if you look closely, black dude did NOT even touch the I.D.. it was still hanging on Everest chest pocket, soon as black dude walks past, and the next clip were Everest walks away, his I.D is GONE!??…..

  8. Jim Davis says:

Take the movie Free Ride, put it in a hotel and add sci fi medical crap, and you have have Hotel Artemis. It's the Continental from John Wick only it's the year 2028. The first half has a very slow set up. This is yet another movie with an all-star cast that completely misses the mark. We have a wise cracking, transatlantic speaking doctor played by Jodie Foster who patches up criminals in a place called the Hotel Artemis. The guy who funds it is played by Jeff Goldblum. Oh boy, we hold old actors in such high esteem that they get the big boy roles, while the new comers get the generic hero roles. There is no reason for any of those characters to exist, they just do. There is no reason to feel anything for the characters and there is no reason to care about the riots outside. No real motivation or story, it's just a normal Wednesday and things happen. Why should anyone care about this film? It's not even good at what it is supposed to be, which I think is either action or suspense? Oh well, 4/10, do yourself a favor and miss this one.

  9. I got time today brah says:

Bull crap, this movie was slow as hell. Very little action and chemistry between all actors. I Didn't even finish the movie, instead i went for a walk.

  10. Laura says:

Realized I had never been to a movie with my partner, so him and I randomly went to see this in Ireland. I do think you were right about characters needing more development but it was an extremely aesthetically pleasing movie, good acting , and interesting takeaways. I think if you are bored and looking for something to do- head to your theater and check it out! We both enjoyed it!

  11. SCharlesDennicon says:

Jesus, that's what I call being a good fucking audience. That movie was dreadful. "Self-aware" ? No : badly written. Atrociously. Yes, it has a 90's vibe… but the bad part of the 90's. And Charlie Day was as insufferable as his character.
