Thing is i live in London where every type of cuisine is available.
True, lovely grub like on this video would be much pricier in London, of course.
I love Thai food and i always think, what is the point in spending 2/3 thousand Baht plus when i can eat Thai for a fraction of the price.
Ok you have a special date you wanna keep happy, so a place like this maybe ideal for a treat every now and then.
But beware, Thai Women often over order because we say, go on have what you want!!
This i don't mind it is just part and parcel, but they all too often leave a load of food as they are full up.
That said, in November i will hopefully be tasting the cuisine from that place, or somewhere similar.

Another great video,Dan outstanding camera work again without the gimble,he is a good camera man,great restaurant I would not say expensive for the quality of the food and location.Del is a nice guy I think he will be very successful at the assienda,well bone nick you have got a good team round you.
Kind of off topic but when I see Soi 1, I always think of Somsakdi's Restaurant. I last ate there in 2020 but I hear it's gone now. He was a great guy but I guess 40 years in one place is enough for anybody.
Info for Besty. Could be his Balance ( vertigo) whatever don’t start poking around with ear buds, it will damage permanently. Go on vertigo videos on you tube vertigo naturally videos. Try the one where you lay your head back on the bed. I suffered badly with blocked ear and my balance. Now I do once a month and have never suffered since. Or he will need to seek expert advice, don’t go to a clinic they will just give you tablets IT DOES NOT WORK. Good luck.

Gotta say theres a lot of money being poured into restaurants & bars in Pattaya. But with inflation I guess many farang want to get out of the west & hit the cheaper places to retire like Pattaya? By the way I have a US friend whose just got a beer called Outlaw Brewing in a blue & black can with Cowboy on it now in Bangkok 7/11s. If it gets to Pattaya give it a go………The food is way out Nick….
