What's happening along Soi Diana? Looks like a new construction wall there on the right side of the street. Is the Bronx Pizza gone from that location? Has it moved? If so, where is the new location? That was one of my favorite places to stop, eat, and people watch.
How many flies were sitting and shitting on all that food sitting out in the open under the sun, any guesses. One trip thru the meat would scare the hell out of me all the flies sitting on that fresh meat and the though of eating that meat later made me want to throw up. Sanitation is not a big thing in Thailand you take your chances just like the rest of the people there.
They need concrete spillways put in or bury some 42 inch pipe with a catch basin by the walkways. This should solve the problem from the sand being wash away. Any hard rain that last over a half a hour will flood beach road.
Great Hyper lapse ! It took me a few tries but I paused it right on the hotel I am staying in – Very cool. That cook your own Buffet was a Very good price ! The beach damage does Not look too bad. I know they are doing repairs and fill ins further up. Pessimist whiners might complain about it – I wont. Great VIDEO !

Now that they know where the drainage onto the beach is happening you would think they could devise a system such as drainage channels to help reduce the erosion.

I bought mine at Chatuchak market for around 1400 baht. Difficult to find the brass ones though.
